    He's not manager but it's a start.

    Uddin becomes first British Asian coach

    Anwar Uddin has been confirmed as Barnet’s caretaker assistant manager, becoming the first British Asian to take up a coaching position in English football.

    Former assistant Giuliano Grazioli has been installed as temporary manager following the departure of Martin Allen, allowing Uddin to help out with first-team duties at the struggling League Two outfit.

    Currently situated in the relegation zone, Barnet have just five games remaining to avoid the drop.

    The Bees club captain, who has recently been sidelined with an ankle injury, has been appointed until the end of the season.

        Yes, I remember him. Played for Leeds and then kind of disappeared.

        Zesh Rehman was another, played for Fulham and teh last I heard he was playing for Bradford.

                              Lol at the goodness gracious me reminder! Sterling is muslim but not asian lol, hope he does well for us. I know there's one who plays in the scottish league and fasts during ramadan even on matchday-mind you in the scottish league we could all probably do that haha! Leon osman's dad's a turk if that counts, there's a few muslims but as for asians there's not many, I'd say zesh rahman is the most high profile one unfortunately. I could go on all week listing the reasons why asians don't progress but I guess you guys are already aware of it.
