@ Shaggy: good point mate, I am sure he could get a job as an A-League coach too.

I know this is a bit late but he's from Lurgan in County Armagh. That's not a place I would call mainly protestant. Sure it has its Protestant enclaves like Glenavon but I'd say that the area is pretty much catholic.

Radio 5 was reporting that they have made arrests in the mail bomb enquiry. I may have misheard but I'm sure they indicated that these people were of republican disposition?

From what I have seen on the news this season I really don't think Lennon does himself ay favours in the way he behaves, however there is no excuse for any of these recent incidents against him. He should just call it a day - he just does not have the temperament or diplomacy skills needed to manage Celtic.

I was just repeating what I read (can't remember the source as it was a while ago), that said he grew up in a mostly protestant area. Whether that was a protestant enclave or not I'm not sure, it could be what I read was incorrect and I'm just repeating it.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A suspicious package has been found at Celtic Park on Thursday morning.

Strathclyde Police officers confirmed they were made aware of a package and officers are currently at the scene.

The development comes hours after two men were arrested in Ayrshire in connection with parcel bombs which were sent to Celtic manager Neil Lennon and two high profile supporters of the club.

The men, aged 41 and 43, were apprehended at a house in Innerwood Road in Kilwinning and at an address in Links Road, Saltcoats.

Specially trained forensics officers are at the scenes of the arrests and will be there throughout the day gathering evidence.

Police would not confirm any further details of the package found at Celtic Park.

It's just not worth it. He needs to pack in the football and move away.

To be honest mate I know nothing about the politics of this and nor do I have any interest in it.

However Lennon has a young family and can't do anything without looking over his shoulder. It's not about winning or losing - it's about doing the sensible thing and getting himself somewhere safe.

**** perceived 'winning or losing' - he needs to keep himself somewhere safe. He's got a young kid. I'd be gone already. It's not about 'running off' or whatever, you've just got to put your family first.

A bullet addressed to Neil Lennon has been sent to Celtic's home ground, sources at the club have told Sky News.

Police are investigating the parcel, which was delivered to the Celtic Park stadium.
It comes after a 26-year-old man was charged over an attack on the Celtic boss during a Clydesdale Bank Premier League game against Hearts at Tynecastle last night.
A fan clambered from the Hearts section of the main stand onto the pitch and charged towards Lennon, who was on the touchline shortly after his team's second goal.
He aimed a punch at the manager before security officials stepped in and he was taken away by police at the Edinburgh stadium.
The man charged over the attack is due to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

Police handcuffed and led the man away
Strathclyde Police previously said they had detained two men, aged 41 and 43, over parcel bombs sent to the Celtic manager and two other high-profile fans of the club in March.
And last night's attack has prompted questions as to whether it is the latest in a series of sectarian incidents to have plagued Celtic and their manager.
Lothian and Borders Police said Lennon's attacker has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and will appear in court.
The 39-year-old manager said on his Twitter page after the match: "Don't let what happened to me tonight take the shine off a wonderful team performance... I don't walk alone."
As well as being sent two parcel bombs, Lennon has suffered death threats in the past.
WAS ATTACK PART OF WIDER PROBLEMS?

Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond said: "This sort of behaviour is utterly unacceptable... We cannot have the safety of individuals endangered by such mindless incidents, and our national game tarnished."
Celtic assistant manager Johan Mjallby told Sky Sports 1 HD that Lennon was "shaken" by the latest incident.
He said: "What has happened to Neil is a dark day for Scottish football and I've never seen anything like it. He is shaken but okay."
