Raul will really have to roll back the years for them to be in with a chance.

Sadly, I can't see it happening.

However, I can't see United beating either Real or Barcelona in the final.

The 2nd leg is at Old Trafford, that puts any thought of Schalke going through, right out of my head.

The majority of United's shocking and enjoyable failures in Europe have been on their home turf though.

Just dont think Schalke are anywhere near good enough though. They're midtable in the bundesliga.

Easiest run in ever to the final.........
              How utterly depressing.
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Might be the first time I get up to watch a non-LFC game.

Praying Schalke do a job on them.

(odds on vital away goal in 94th minute..?)

Nah, it'll probably be a close one tonight, maybe a draw and give us all hope, before they smash them in the 2nd leg.

I fancy Schalke to to go through.

I'd be absolutely delighted if they do, but as i said before, i think the 2nd leg being at Old Trafford will prove to be a decisive factor in the scum making the final

I know someone mentioned they've crashed out at home in Europe a lot but that's usually up against top teams, i don't think Schalke fall into that category tbh.

Reckon Schalke need a good 2 goal lead tonight to have any chance.

We would all like Utd to lose, don't think there are many LFC fans who would want them to win.

But we all know they will smash them.

The hope I`m clinging to is the fact that Schalke will not give a slightest **** about playing at home. They will play counter attack and Mancs will hate it. Mancs as we saw 1000 times are used to play on the counter away from home and won`t be able to do it because Schalke will be defending and try to hit them. If Neuer has his day he will be able to stop them on his own.

                              Here is me hoping.
