    Giggs

I know, I know. He play for Scum but I still respect him very very much. He is a top class player on and off the pitch. He is IMO one of the best players ever.

I think that he is as important for United as Fergie is. His leadership qualities is excellent and he almost never moan at the referee. Excellent game intelligence and he oozes respect.

I will probably get a lot of stick for this.....

Doubt you will get stick for it mate. Most people can respect talent. Although i'd prefer to talk about him once he has hung his boots up.

I don't think anyone can not respect what he has achieved on the pitch and all the honours he has won.

I disagree with the bit in bold though. He's always one of the first to get his hairy face all up in the ref's.

Also, I'm not sure he's as class off the pitch as you may believe. You probably missed the related threads during your Spanish trip but he's not the clean living boy the media paint him as.

Also also, he is a human carpet.

I liked him when he was new on the scene. But then he grew stubble and an attitude and from then I thought he was a bit of a cunt.

Are there rumours of him party/drinking whatever or just shagging around. If it is the latter then in footballing terms his off field behaviour is neither here nor there really. So I think Arns comments might well work.

He's been excellent for United. I wish we had some players with his experience and calm authority on the pitch (not to say he doesn't act like any other United player to the ref, obviously).

Too right - What the hell did he do to deserve the BBC Sports personality a few years ago when he beat Jensen Button to it?

I'm not sure Liverpool fans are in a strong position to pour scorn on the super-injunctions obtained by players at other clubs.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
