Smalling & Evans, plus Gibson - maybe Schalke have a chance after all.

They'd lost that game before the whistle though, their arses went. I'm hoping now they have nothing to lose they'll play more relaxed and hopefully better. Not exactly holding my breath though like

Schalke have nothing to lose, in fact seeing the scum team. Schalke have everything to win. If they come out a have a go at them like they did Inter they could spring a surprise

What has the world come to? CL semifinal and this old ******* plays reserves. If I would be Schalke coach I would give them this teamsheet and ask them if they have any pride left cause it is simply insult to them.

Only VdS, Valencia and Nani are anywhere near best 11 they have.

I think i'd laugh all the way until May 28th if Schalke somehow managed this.

but let's not get our hopes up. It will only end in disappointment. That's life.

Just imagine, first Shalke then Chavs do the business, for Ferguscum to get so close to No 4 and No 19, only to lose them both at the final hurdle....oh what utter and uncontrollable joy!

edit: ok, just seen the above post, hopes not up, just fantasising.

I don't want to watch it, it will only depress me
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Do you honestly think they can? I cant see it.

Raul would have to have the best performance of his life and unfortunately, the mancs defence wont roll out the red carpet like Inter's did.

Nah they won't manage it. But im taking the 2.25 on offer for Shalke +1 handicap. Think they can atleast get a draw on the night

It would have to be a case of utd having so much bad luck..hitting the woodwork, keeper plays a blinder, etc etc, while Schalke can do no wrong in the game, it's the only way it's going to happen really, i don't see Schalke being the better team on the night; not enough to turn it around due to better consistant play anyway, they'll defo need a big rub of the green to pull this off.

But, having said that, in football...it does and has happened before.
