What I was getting at in my original post, was that you seemed to convince yourself that Mourinho was a realistic appointment, despite very good reasons for that being extremely unlikely. And now you are extremely pessimistic with regards to us signing a player who I think is obtainable.

Mata's value is around 20 million. So the price tag isn't an issue (wow - take a moment to think how surreal it is to think that, when 12 months ago we had H & G in charge). Liverpool is a big club in Spain. I think Mata could be convinced by our 'project.' Yes, there are other teams I think he would choose to go to ahead of us, but no one seems to be in for him!

Aguero is unrealistic in the extreme.

If FSG had been owners when Rafa went, and approached Mourinho, i think he would have come. You dont. Not to worry.
