re Juan Mata. Agent working on deal is based in England and has been liasing with #LFC and #AFC on the player's availability and value.
Graham Hunter was on Sky Sports News this morning
He said 2 Premier League clubs have been in direct talks with Mata's people but have been joined by a 3rd late last night/early this morning
All know the release clause value (thought he said €25 million) but none have met it yet

According to @JamieDalton82 and @PeavesAFC appears only #AFC and #THFC met #Mata's buy-out clause (according to Sky's Spanish Correspondent)
JamieDalton is a rabid gooner and seems to have an intense hatred of LFC

I think we'll get him. Our interest was said to have been lodged ages ago and we spoke to his people several times. Arsenal are johnny-come-latelys, probably got giddy after seeing the U21 tournament.
You often see players sign for a club and then come out and say it was because they felt more wanted, that the club had worked hard and been pursuing him for longer than anyone else. Think that stuff is important to a player. Fingers crossed anyway.
Lets hope so
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Time to get Tweeting to JWH people!! He listens, well he at least reads! Let him know how much we want this signing!

Admirable humour in @John_W_Henry replies to Twitter's lobotomised subclass. That'll soon change if he's asked about Juan Mata, mind. #LFC
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
Modric will be off soon so they'll have cash to spend
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.
If we get Mata, **** **** we will actually have a half decent squad.
His arrival would make Downing seem a much better signing. I hate the idea that it's one or the other and Downing is the preferred target. There's room for both in the squad and if they both came our front six (or so) would have to be permed from this lot (as things stand):
Gerrard
Adam
Aquilani
Meireles
Henderson
Kuyt
Downing
Mata
Suarez
Carroll
POSSIBILITIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIES
Amazing depth and quality there. I cannot get my head around people wanting to see the back of Meireles and Aquilani. Two experienced international players, both have quality, and they make the squad a damn sight stronger. The Mancs, Arsenal et al have had a similar amount of players to choose from for years. Spurs have even more options. The minute we look like assembling a squad of serious depth and quality, there's talk of shipping some out.
Unless either of them are unhappy, surely we have to keep both.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
My heart screams for him, my head says he will go to London, brights lights, street cred, lifestyle etc, and with the Gooners CL footie and a positive way of playing continental football suited to him.
I know Kenny wants to play the same way but we have a huge sell job to convince him.
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

I'm not sure - all the Spanish players have said how similar life is in the north of England to Spain. I can't see London life appealing to them. Whereas I can understand why a lot of the French go to play in London. But yes football wise, Arsenal is more suited to him but there team is going to take a bit of a tonking if Fabregas and Nasri leave
