They are completely different type of players so to me it wouldn't be either or.

We cannot sign Mata cause the window for foreign players is not open yet and he has been focusing on U21. We have some time to sort that out.

We did buy Henderson, which most likely will not be a starter next year so imo we do have money to buy players that would make sense now and for the future and getting Mata makes sense.
