He's just providing a narrative though and stuff changes all the time. As usual all the top journos are parroting him, with some saying Arsenal's last minute pissing around is merely posturing. Fabregas will sign in a day or two and it's GB ahead of everyone else (with this story). Even Puyol has been tweeting Cesc to welcome him

But who cares if you have 50:50 info that Fabregas is gone hours or even a day before it happens. It's no more interesting than mere speculation really. Once something has happened the narrative might be interesting but before it's all a bit pointless IMO.

But clearly something has happened and as with most big stories involving Spanish players he knows about it. All I'm saying is he gets absolute pelters for being a complete fraud/bull****ter when that obviously isn't the case.

He sometimes leaves no stone unturned but when it comes to stuff involving big name Spanish players he's nearly always right. The whole "inside info"/knowing stuff before it's official isn't that important obviously but in a world full of absolute blaggers, bull****ters and frauds, it seems odd to me that he should be one of the most vilified.

He's just the most high profile I think. He is also more vociferous/certain of himself than the likes of Sid Lowe.
