A while ago I set up a wesley sneijder account on twitter in order to wind up some mancs (when I was home high on painkillers after an accident). Well, I logged on to twitter for the first time for ages and the pc had the sneijder uid and pwd saved so I logged in. I've got a few thousand followers!

I'd agree with you if Wayne Rooney hadn't have shaved his chest to the number 19 and posted it all over Twitter...if Rio Ferdinand hadn't been tweeting a load of **** about Refs and about Spurs beating Liverpool 2-0 a few weeks ago 'maybe pipe a few people down' any need for that??

And last but by no means least, the embarrassing Michael Owen tweeting left right and center about United as if he's played every game for them this season and making stupid comments like 'if you can't beat them, join them'.

Three utter bellends and they deserve everything they get.

Turks are crazy about football and it's not unusual to see well known players (e.g. Carlos, Guti, Frank de Boer, Hagi) playing there a year or two before they retire cause Turks don't mind paying premium for "celebrity" players past their best.

Elmander, although not in the same category as the ones I mentioned, is only 29 and imo he could still play pretty effectively in Bolton if he wanted to stay but I guess Gala was willing to pay more than Wanderers.
