Is there something specifically bad about that company, or is it just because they are one of those ****ty loan companies praying on people's vulnerabilities?

Well you would think being a ****ty loan company praying on peoples vulnerabilities was a big enough reason to think they are bad. But I think thats about it with them. However, its not really much different to the last sponsor they had, Bet365 or whatever it was.
Most sponsors in Football seem to have something horrible about them. Standard Chartered hardly cover themselves with glory do they.*Except Michael, who died.

Yep, they are terrible. I nearly had to use one of them a couple of years ago. But luckily I didnt need too. People can get deep into a Wonga hole, borrowing more to cover the money they borrowed.
No one seems to care about Blackpool and Hearts with them as sponsors though, but maybe thats because they seem to have a better corporate image.*Except Michael, who died.

I think you'll find someone* pointed out the sickening irony of Ian Holloway going on in a post-match interview about how money is ruining the game while standing in front of a board advertising Wonga.Originally posted by Alex View PostYep, they are terrible. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Wait a minute, I wasn't referring to the (admittedly egregious) spelling mistakes but to Bald Eagle's twisted narcissism..

I haven't got flu but it's a really unpleasant cold. And it's so frustrating to miss summer like this.
