I can kinda see where Arn is coming from, it's just not as black and white as the statements he has emphatically made. I think a much better analogy would be the Spain team of Del Bosque for what Rafa achieved and what he appeared to be aiming for tactically at least.

We obviously never managed to assemble as talented a set of individuals but the nature of the reforms made to the reserves and youth set up did indicate a philosophical link to the same footballing traditions as the current Barcelona and Spanish national teams.
