Stan Collymore is on BBC Breakfast at the moment. It's good that this is getting highlighted on a national level.

Yep, he seems to be a bit of a lightening Rod for it. Same with depression awareness. Its good how he has turned his life around, because for a time he was a real scumbag.Originally posted by Muddled View PostStan Collymore is on BBC Breakfast at the moment. His highlighting of the Racists doesnt seem enough now though. Its up to companies like Twitter and Facebook to do something about it. There has to be some sort of avenue to report this sort of stuff to the police.
You wouldnt get away with sending it in a letter, or email. So why on social media?*Except Michael, who died.

Stan has made 5 police reports over Twitter abuse apparently. Not condoning racist abuse but also think the police need to have a word with him as regards his blatant trolling on twitter. Most normal folk would **** it off if continually getting abused on it.
He seems to revel in taking a polar view then reporting folk. Sure police time could also be better spent than chasing little kids on twitter sending abuse

Surely @StanCollymore can find something better to do with his time than sit weeping over twitter. Using women's heads as footballs perhaps?

@KTHopkins Will be passing your comments to my lawyer. You'll need to prove these allegations in court. Use wiki/Google wisely.

But what you're advocating is the equivalent of Royal Mail scanning your letters for abusive content and banning you from sending letters again if they find it.Was muß, das muß.
