I can see United being in Nasri and financing it with Nani being moved on (speaking to a Manc mate who seems to think he'll be off this summer for decent money)

What is the thinking behind Nani leaving? Is it that he is unhappy or that the scum are skint?Originally posted by Craig_H View PostThe Nani to Juve link came out a good few weeks back. Cant understand why the mancs would sell him, he's their best flat track bully and does the job superbly. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Got to be they need the money, if they get in Young and Nasri they need to sell a bit more than the 12million **** pile they are flogging to SunderlandOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostWhat is the thinking behind Nani leaving? Is it that he is unhappy or that the scum are skint?

But why is he being linked with Juventus, they have claimed that they too are skint (as regards Aquilani) surely Man Utd would be looking for something in the region of £30m for him, I would doubt that Juventus have that sort of money (even though they are clearly bull****ting us over Aquilani).Originally posted by Chazza1978 View PostGot to be they need the money, if they get in Young and Nasri they need to sell a bit more than the 12million **** pile they are flogging to SunderlandThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

25m was the figure quoted, I think Juve registered an interest in him when he was out of the team behind Ronaldo, they must have been given some encouragement for it to happenOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostBut why is he being linked with Juventus, they have claimed that they too are skint (as regards Aquilani) surely Man Utd would be looking for something in the region of £30m for him, I would doubt that Juventus have that sort of money (even though they are clearly bull****ting us over Aquilani).
Something has to give though they cannot bring in De Gea, Jones, Young and Nasri and only ship out the three to Sunderland, Nani and/or Berbatov must be getting sold

I think the theory was, sign Young for £10m-£12m, sell Nani for £20m-£24m or so, and bag a nice £10m+ cash to spend elsewhere.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostWhat is the thinking behind Nani leaving? Is it that he is unhappy or that the scum are skint?
Now Young looks like costing more, so who knows what'll happen.

O'Shea's the pick of the bunch. Brown struggles with injuries and getting on. And I just don't see Gibson as a decent player.Originally posted by dww View PostI'd think £3m-£4m for each is about fair. They might not be top end talent but they have proven to be tactically disciplined (bar Gibson) and have a winning mentality. They strike me as a bunch of Phil Nevilles - not outstanding but they have the qualities that help make strong teams. For teams with the ambitions of Sunderland or Everton I think they are about as good as any players they are likely to sign.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

I knew Brown was about that he's been around for ages, I'm suprised that O'Shea is that old as he doesn't seem to have been around anywhere near as longOriginally posted by Fivex View PostO'Shea is 30 and Brown is 31.
