Problem with that is the massive wages they have paid, like Adebayour on 150k a week, Wayne Bridge on 80k+ all gotta take big pay cuts to move

or city will just carry on paying there wages a la bellamy and adebayor not be bothered in the slightest

half the premiership will be on citys payroll in a couple of years!!!

                Piers winding up Mickey Owen..

                His tweets

I take exception to footballers being labelled greedy pigs by morons like you. Get me on your programme so we can debate it!!!
Wow you talk rubbish. Why are you flying all over the world for work? Doing it for free?
Players will join Arsenal because of: club, fans, stadium, money, manager, champions league etc not because they support them.

Exactly my point 'nugget'. I supported Everton as a kid. Do you think every Arsenal player supported Arsenal as a kid?

And do you think the players you will buy will sign because they have always supported Arsenal? Wake up.

@themichaelowen Maybe we should do it at Anfield? You could explain modern player loyalty to me in front of the Kop wearing your Utd shirt.

Former England striker Francis Jeffers is training with League Two Accrington Stanley.
He is without a club after being freed by Motherwell.

That will certainly not be the case by the end of this window.
