Wenger's never built a decent defence for Arsenal. He inherited the legendary one, and those were his peak years as Arsenal manager. It was dragged out for years and when they retired he never adequately replaced them, other than with Sol Campbell.

Where are Man Utd getting their money from I thought they were supposedly skint yet they've already spend over £40m and are now looking at £33m for Sneijder, and they haven't sold either of the players that were being linked with moves away (Nani and Berbatov)

The only reason I can think of to why they sold him on the cheap would be if they would get a high percentage of the transfer fee if Atletico sell him.

He will get a lot more headlines at Atletico.

He will be off to a bigger club in one or two years time IMO and I doubt that the buy-out clause will be that high.
