He did have a broken foot and an ankle injury in last couple of years that kept him sidelined for significant period of time but he's still only 23.

earlier in the summer i might have been able to see it, but where in our squad do we have room for yet another central midfielder with question marks over his fitness? we already have at least 3 more than we need.

We really don't need Defour though, we have plenty of central midfielders, so I'm not sorry we have lost out on him - if we really have lost out. I know he was the big thing a couple of years ago, but there's a reason why he ended up at a club just below the best for that amount.

Its a great feeling to have done all of our business while all the other top teams, bar ManUtd are scrambeling around to get players in. Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs are not really any stronger than last season. Weaker if anything at the moment.
