      Why wait.

      We should do it now.

It must be some loophole as Mancs still have 2 years left with their shirt sponsor Aon.

They wont be getting that in a lump sum, upfront.

And the problem with Sneijder, is that his wages break United's salary structure, rather than a problem paying the transfer fee.

I didn't read the story (newspaper) but a headline said that Nike were going to help pay for sneijder .

****ing hell. Everton would kill for that cash just to sponsor the whole tin pot club from ground to kit.
              Oh I don't know.

                Eh?

Biggest concern for me is that it pushes the market rate for these closer to City's deal, thus legitimising it with FPP.
                Oh I don't know.

The inference was that Nike, who also sponsor Snjeider, will up what they pay him to make up the difference between what he wants in salary and what utd want to pay him.

Can't see much wrong with it myself.

True but the money is guaranteed which gives them the ability to finance the purchase if they want to.

Agree on wages piece. I always thought that's the main problem with the deal to begin with.

As much as it is hilarious to laugh at Everton at the moment, its still pretty raw what we went through. So I have some sympathy.

This will be an unpopular decision, Howard Webb named as Ref for Man Utd vs Arsenal next Sunday
