If they are willing to let him go surely they have the replacement in mind. If they wouldn't bring another one the only LB they would have is Gibbs and he is injured now + he may not be as ready as Wenger initially thought.

I doubt Everton would sell both, but if they did their fans would go mental

Presumably Everton would want ~£15m+ each for them, and I can't see Wenger spending that kind of money on a player older that about 23

I can't believe it is a good idea for Arsenal to sell any more players no matter how **** they are. They can't be far off struggling to get XI together on a saturday.
