Savings is a bit different.. Its like you receive a fixed amount from the bank for the use of your money.. Frankly i see it all the same.. banks will **** you over either way.
That is because when you are trying to stimulate the economy or pay off the sovereign debt, the savers take the hit.
It's because, the banks don't have to pay much to the savers yet charge previously existing rates on loans/borrowing thereby generating more money to be able to pay off quickly.
I'm surprised that we were one of the least affected by the recession and that was largely due to the fact that we carried very little of 'international banking' on our balance sheets.
Well...the press aren't making it up but I can well imagine the Muslim Council of Britain are doing this for a bit of publicity, raise their profile etc, knowing full well it's a load of ****e.
Yeah, the MCB aren't above talking themselves up.
Still, dealing with a company like Wonga does Newcastle no credit.
Sorry about the pun.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
