only takes a couple to be succesful to pay off though doesnt it. Most clubs dont have the scouting network or funds available to buy more established stars and the good ones wouldn;t want to go to sunderland anyway

Does it though? We've probably spent upwards of £50m on teenagers since Rafa joined and I can't see their current combined value being anywhere near that.

its ok buying a handful of kids and seeing which make the grade, but not at 8-10m each
