Are kidney stones a side effect of taking creatine?
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Is that a genuine question or are you setting someone up for a sarcy reply?

It's finally came to this after 6 1/2 years of Neil's 'witty musings'

It's widely rumoured Barcelona are involved in the historic doping ring in Spain - the Fuentes case/Operation Puerto. So something unusual like this is probably just what it seems but there are now doubts about the club's probity.

For some strange reason all the non-cycling cases in Puerto are being swept under the carpet in Spain, perhaps some powerful interests don't want them made public.

Like I say, there's probably nothing in this. Probably.

I'm not up to speed on this scandal but just read the Wiki timeline. He's quoted from 2010 saying that Spain won the World Cup on dodgy grounds? And he's currently in court detailing how he helped cyclists dope for a number of years? Is that the gist?

Not googled it properly - are Barca specifically rumoured to be implicated?

Does doping make you a better passer of the ball?

I would imagine it does yes. Passing is a mechanical process and diminishing the effects of tiredness and increasing muscle stength would no doubt be beneficial. And it could also help other players find space to receive a pass.

Obviously not going to help spot and pick a pass, but in terms of execution I'd say yes.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
