I've never rated him that highly...scores the odd cracker but in terms of overall contribution, he's nothing special at all.

Rooney is an incredibly talented guy but he is inconsistent. Scores in bunches (Jermaine Dafoe does the same).

IMO any team that can get him fully fit and functioning... have an absolutely superb player on their hands.

Great signing for them if it comes off. They had a fantastic season but will miss lukuka, this is a good as a replacement as they could ever hope.
