I am saying that if he is getting abuse through a platform then, that platform should be the ones doing something to help stop it.

In the situation you describe, the Royal Mail is the internet provider. But Twitter is the paper which the letter is written on. So the burden is not on the company that makes the connections, but the one that facilitates them.

The letter would be reported to the police and dealt with properly

Talk Spite have blocked twitter, one of the bosses has wrote to Twitter regarding their lack of backing for Collymore.

They then went on to mention Twitter more often than ever, as everyone wanted to tweet them. Was pure comedy!

Yep. It was a proper meltdown about Ulrika, who has told The Sun "how dare he preach about death threats when he said he'd '****ing kill me' the night he beat me up" (Sun's front page headline was VILE COWARD - the image was going round Twitter). He tore into Ulrika, calling her a liar, that he wants to go to court to prove he "hit her with an open hand" but never kicked her in the head, never said he'd kill her. He kept saying "I am a 6'4 sportsman, if I'd hit her repeatedly and kicked her in the head why did she have no bruises? Why wasn't she knocked out? Why?"....which was the tip of the iceberg. Must've been 20 odd successive tweets on the subject.

On one hand he does have a good point, on the other hand it's hard to have sympathy for him. He bashed her in some shape or form and he's a total cunt so deserves anything he gets.

Stan has made 5 police reports over Twitter abuse apparently. Not condoning racist abuse but also think the police need to have a word with him as regards his blatant trolling on twitter. Most normal folk would **** it off if continually getting abused on it.

He seems to revel in taking a polar view then reporting folk. Sure police time could also be better spent than chasing little kids on twitter sending abuse
