BBC pundit Gary Lineker has completed one of the easiest yet most satisfying acts someone can do, absolutely destroying Piers Morgan online.

Morgan had the temerity to tweet a photo of himself and Lineker’s wife Danielle at Royal Ascot this week. The Match of the Day host was quick to reply to Morgan’s attempt to get a rise out of him.

The former newspaper editor captioned the photo “Hi Jugs @GaryLineker – all under control here”.

This elicited an excellently executed comeback from Lineker in which he implied Morgan resembled a phallus.
