From the BBC:
Not meaning to dampen Man City spirits at all - enjoy it, folks, really do - but a word of warning: among the nine other teams potentially involved in Champions League qualifying next season, they currently include Villarreal, Bayern Munich, Udinese and Lyon. Wowzers.Modifying post.

Yeah - I can't see them being seeded. It would be a work of Genius if they spend BIG (again) and go out in the qualifiers.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostCity dont have any kind of european history either, so they shouldnt be seeded, should they? Would love to see them draw Bayern Munich.Modifying post.

If that was Rafa, it would've been called a 'rant'.
Also couldn't believe Sky tonight, celebrating City's 'magnificent achievement' in coming 4th, having spent more in a year or two than Rafa did in his entire time with us. Yet when we came 4th it was abject failure and relentless criticism.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

You could clearly see the way Redknapp set up the season. Light pre-season training so the team will be starting the season very good and be in good form in the CL group stage.
Works the first four, five months then the form starts to dip and the players get tired the last few months of the season because they didn't worked harder in pre-season.
The opposite to how Rafa sets up the season. Will be interesting to see how KK and Clarke will set up our pre-season training.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

Of course it makes a difference the way you set up the season. You could set it up in many different ways. The pre-season being key to that.Originally posted by acdmackay View PostI honestly don't think it makes much difference
If you do light pre-season training then the players will be in good form at the start of the season. Harder pre-season training and the players will feel the effect the first couple of months but be stronger the second half of the season because they will be trained to last the full season.
It is even more important in a world cup year.Stop the cyberhate
