An interview with his mum which reduces the self/proclaimed hardman to tears, and made me think he was alright for a short while. His mum is a good sort anyway... and he was a red when he was younger..

The man's a tit and was a **** player. The only reason he's now contaminating the airwaves is the BBC's policy of regional accent quotas. He's the Welsh voice of BBC footy. I'm from Wrexham and the missus' family knows his family.
He stopped Wrexham from going under by paying the club's utility bill in the region of £25-50,000 and didn't want any publicity or anything.
He has done a lot in the community.Comment

I have been out for a few beers with him (while he was at Crewe) and he is a decent lad. He gets a lot of **** for the way he portrayed himself on the pitch.
Saw himself as a bit of a local celebrity when out in Wrexham, a fact that wasnt helped by the way he used to dress!
He used to look after the old guys at the working mans club I used to go to and always got them a drink in and had time for a chat with them.
Bit of a knob publicly (see his twitter vids), but a decent guy underneath.
