    FA Cup Final

    Anyone bothered?

I've just realised I'll be on a train so won't see any of it. Not that that I really care.

I don't remember watching any of the past few finals.

Roll on 2012 when we get to the final.
    Oh I don't know.

Not too bothered although I think it'd be funny if Stoke won.

This guy would be gutted though:

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm of the opinion it;s a ****ing disgrace that it's on the same day as United are going to the win league....if City win the Cup, the fact that United have won the league on the same day won't half take the shine of it.

FA Cup final day whether people think it's not what it used to be or whatever, should be about the supporters of the two teams involved getting all the glory for one day.
That's not going to happen when there's a load of Premier League games on the same day.

Used to be a truly magical day, Cup Final day, waking up early and sat in front of the telly watching the build-up then the game.... great days. And Wembley was a proper Cup Final stadium as well - new Wembley... meh..

Thanks to the PL and Sky the magic has gone and I will probably be in Sainsbury's doing the shopping when it is on.

FA Cup final should be after the League season has finished

Champions League final at Wembley means it had to be brought forward.
            Oh I don't know.

What is it with City fans getting tattooed too soon? They had the chap with the Kaka one and I'm sure they've had a few more over the last few years.

                      Totally agree.

Part of it is no doubt nostalgia, but there's no denying it's not the same as it used to be.

As a kid I LOVED watching every minute of the build up, normally from 9am. Player profiles, visits to the team hotels, following the team coaches etc. Magic.

kin ****e now, partly due to over exposure but the way the FA/PL have handled it this year has been abysmal.

Hope City win though. Never minded City, the Mancs will hate them winning it, they'll have to take down their cringeworthy and *PERMANENT* 34 years banner that hangs at OT. Also I've always hated Stoke and their neanderthal, simple supporters. ****, small time club.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Don't care too much who wins - City fans have become unbearable recently and Stoke are cunts.

But yeah, the FA Cup has certainly lost the magic.

I don't think it'll be permanent for much longer 3 months (by August) won't have the same effect

Having said that if Stoke manage to win it'll make it'll make the scum's day all the sweeter

Aye I can't say I'm fussed. City are unbearable at times and that gallows humour they always had has mainly disappeared.

I've always thought City were alright tbh.
My Grandad is a big City fan(well he was up until poor health took over) and we went to a match at the Eastlands in 2004 for his 80th Birthday, really enjoyed it tbh, more than i thought i would even tho if i didn't support City.
City won 1-0 vs Newcastle...Paulo Wanchope scored

Had a great day out in Manchester.
