Samaras is a disaster
Utterly atrocious player, one of the saddest signs of the times in scottish football are these gash euro players coming up north for a pay-day and actually getting game time. Even sadder is that there are no decent, young Scottish players to stop the money being wasted.

Aye. And also if the young scottish players layed off the Buckfast. It might be a different story.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostSamaras is a disaster

The SPL standard is so bad, look at the players who have been average in the Premiership but outstanding in the SPL Chris Sutton, John Hartson etc, and the players that have been stars in the SPL but have struggled to make and impression or even get game time in the Premiership - Barry Ferguson, Shaun Maloney etc.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostSamaras is a disaster

The idea that Celtic and Rangers could join the Premiership and do well is laughableThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Well, the argument is that as soon as they join they can sign much better players because they'll be able to pay much higher wages..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

It is very dire. Im scottish and when I was younger my Dad tried to get me to support Celtic but it was so atrocious watching them trounce tiny little clubs every week that I quickly turned to the English league and decided on their close friends Liverpool. What's even worse now is that the standard has lowered since then.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostThe SPL standard is so bad, look at the players who have been average in the Premiership but outstanding in the SPL Chris Sutton, John Hartson etc, and the players that have been stars in the SPL but have struggled to make and impression or even get game time in the Premiership - Barry Ferguson, Shaun Maloney etc.

Rangers and Celtic would be getting in far more money if they joined the English leagues though but I'd rather watch Ultimate Fighting Championship than an old firm game with both teams kicking two shades of **** out of each other. Anyway, back to Aguero

Sergio Aguero does not want to play for Real Madrid - Atletico Madrid's Enrique Cerezo

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has rejected the idea that striker Sergio Aguero wants to join local rivals Real Madrid.
Reports continue to link the 22-year-old with a summer exit despite numerous denials coming out of Vicente Calderon.
The Argentine's current deal expires in 2014, and interested parties would be able to negotiate with the player if they meet the capital club's £39.7 million release clause.
But Cerezo is determined to keep the player, telling the press: "It is what we have been saying for a long time. Aguero is an Atletico Madrid player and we have not had any offer.
"There is plenty of talk but I have no offers. I have always said players can play where they want, but I don't believe 'Kun' wants to play at Real Madrid."
Meanwhile, reports have emerged suggesting an interest from Serie A side Juventus, but Cerezo reiterated that no offer had been recieved.
"Every year there is always talk of the same and nothing ever happens," he continued. "To my knowledge there have been no offers. If Juve have bid, we have not received it."
Diego Forlan has also been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital, but Cerezo said: "I would tell him to remain and I believe he has a contract here. No-one has told me that he wants to leave."Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

It could happen I guess, like I may win the lottery or daniel agger may stop getting injured, I just wouldn't go putting any money on it.Originally posted by Mostar View PostNever say never. If he's available for the right price and he favors us instead of Chavs or Cityh it could happen.
dreams eh....where would we be without them.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

It's quite far from being impossible imo.
What would you do if we signed Edan Hazard? Run over your hand?

I think Hazard is a more realistic target tbh. If he were to sign I'd wank myself in a frenzy of epic proportions. get the wife to film it.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
