Whether or not he's what we need at the moment, when players of his class are available we should be showing an interest at least, if he moves to another top European club and kicks on again then he'll be well out of our reach

Maybe this is why they didn't want Aqua, all monies for KumOriginally posted by BigChief View PostDidn't need the agents to deny the story to be honest. Juventus can't afford to pay £16 million for one of their star performers last season (Aqua). This was always a non story. Just hope we're working silently in the background. Though, not sure if he's what we need right now. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.

CHELSEA last night launched a stunning £50miIlion bid to sign Atletico Madrid goal ace Sergio Aguero – after it was revealed the player was close to joining Juventus.
The Blues’ dramatic move for Aguero, 23, comes as Atletico coach Gregorio Manzano warned *mega-bucks Manchester City – who are also *interested in the Argentina striker – to make an offer or face the prospect of having to meet his £45m release clause.
Chelsea’s bid is intended to blow everyone out of the water. If accepted it would mean that chairman Roman Abramovich has spent £100m on strikers this year, following on from his £50m capture of Fernando Torres, 27, from Liverpool.
And with David Luiz, 24, also having joined the ranks for £20m in January, the Russian *billionaire has not been shy with his cash as he targets winning the Champions League.
Aguero, who has netted 74 goals in 175 appearances for Atletico, sparked a transfer frenzy earlier this month when he announced he wanted to leave the Vicente Calderon.
Juventus, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the hitman, who is Diego Maradona’s son-in-law, although none have come close to Atletico’s valuation.
Aguero looked set to snub a move to the Premier League in favour of Serie A and Juve – but the player is now reconsidering his options after the stunning offer from Stamford Bridge.
His arrival in west London would cast serious doubt over the future of Chelsea’s other strikers.
Didier Drogba, 33, has been linked with Spanish club Malaga after a season plagued by injury.
If Drogba stays, Frenchman Nicolas Anelka, 31, could be heading for the exit door to make room for Aguero and Torres.
The plot thickens even further with the return of Daniel Sturridge, 21, from a loan spell at Bolton, where he scored eight goals in 11 games for the Trotters. It remains to be seen whether City will follow suit and launch a mega-bid to tempt Aguero to Eastlands.
Newly-appointed Manzano sparked Chelsea’s move yesterday when he warned interested clubs that they should do a deal before July 4 or face the prospect of matching Aguero’s release clause.
He said: “Until July 4, when our pre-season starts, we are able to negotiate for Aguero.
“After this date, clubs that want to take him away will have to pay his release clause.
“We have to impose ourselves on the market and so we need to know whether we can count on our strongest player.”
Aguero’s departure will leave Atletico with a real headache.
The future of his strike partner Diego Forlan, 32, is in doubt and highly-rated goalkeeper David de Gea, 20, is expected to join Manchester United as a replacement for Edwin van der Sar.
Meanwhile, Chelsea defender *Jeffrey Bruma is set to join Hamburg on a two-year loan spell.
The deal will see the Blues retaining the option to recall the Dutchman, 19, next summer.
Bruma follows ex-team-mates Michael Mancienne, Gokhan Tore and Jacopo Sala to Hamburg, after the recent appointment of former Chelsea sporting director Frank Arnesen at the Bundesliga club.
Arnesen played a pivotal role in the raid that’s now seen Hamburg capture a fourth Chelsea *youngster.
Bruma’s agent, Wessel Weezenberg, is hopeful the move will give his client the chance to secure more regular first-team football.

That Pault86 on Twitter is absoloutely adamant that LFC officials are going to be meeting with Aguero's agent and Madrid's officials sometime this month.
He's been banging on about it for the last 3 or 4 weeks or so.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I hope he's right but somehow I doubt he is. He always comes across as a tit to me who is no more in the know than me or you.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostThat Pault86 on Twitter is absoloutely adamant that LFC officials are going to be meeting with Aguero's agent and Madrid's officials sometime this month.

too many people on twitter that "know something " about our signings and know **** all, I mean I could tweet all day about possible signings and who were meeting etc..... at some point I'll get one right in the end!
Obviously I'd love Aguero to come but when muppets like JenChang and Paul86 tweet stuff it generally strengthens my belief it won't be happening!

No mention of us or Chelsea or Citeeeeeeh for that matter.
A few moments after being introduced as new coach of Al Wasl of UAE and with only a couple of sentences, Maradona has been clarified in part the saga Agüero. The father of the Argentine has revealed that his son would follow Atletico before having to move out of town: "Sergio will remain in Madrid, Atletico or wherever." By the way, the mythical exfutbolista made it clear that the intention of Omen from the beginning was to be transferred to Real Madrid. "They still want to Kun as always. Spain will have to be thankful Maradona's family for life," the father.
Although this time there especially disparages Atletico, the club has not sat well with Maradona put back into question the adequacy of the entity rojiblanca to Kun. In the past, said the best thing for his son would play for Inter or go to any set with more weight in Europe. Meanwhile, Atletico had wondered why such statements if Argentina coach when he was just used to Agüero.
IMG player and he is entering the nervousness because you know that Atletico has set a deadline to negotiate on 4 July. Although still confident that his future is resolved before the start of the Copa America (July 1), Kun and his agency would have liked to close and its transfer. The next two weeks will be key.

Alternatively:
Juventus representatives will travel to the capital of Spain this coming week to deal with the directive of the signing Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero said Tuesday the Italian sports daily "Corriere dello Sport."
According to the newspaper, the emissaries of the Turin club sports will be the general manager and coordinator of the technical area of Juventus and Fabio Giuseppe Marotta Paratici, respectively, who will meet with representatives of the player.
"Corriere dello Sport" says that the journey of the directors of Juventus will take place before next Thursday, for which there is a set in Turin club's Board of Directors.
The newspaper says that at the heart of the negotiations is the possibility of lowering the figure of 45 million euros which is fixed in the clause of Agüero.
"Juventus want to negotiate: the amount considered excessive agreed between Aguero and Atletico and is convinced that Spanish managers eventually decide to negotiate on price, driven by the need to raise cash," says "Corriere dello Sport."
"At that point, with 30 million, up 35 million, the 'black and white' (Juventus) are convinced to do it, with Atletico and the player, despite the 'handicap' with respect to the competence of the lack of participation in the European Cups next season, "he adds.
On the issue today also reported general Turin daily "La Stampa", which offers slightly lower figures with which Atletico and Juventus could reach an agreement to allow the output of Argentina, between 25 and 30 million euros .
"La Stampa" also refers to the need for Atletico Madrid deposit money as a basic element in the negotiations to achieve the reduction of the buyout of a player on the other hand, has already expressed his desire to leave the Spanish club .
