To be honest Ancelotti has made some strange decisions at times this season. The way Anelka was bombed out the team even when he was their form player was a bit silly in my opinion. Lampard offers very little to the team nowadays and Mikel is a pointless player to have in midfield when they already have Essien playing

Why would he appoint van man basten? Unless he's just the puppet
and Hiddink is pulling the strings as they say.

He wants the Champions League, he's tried 1 succesful manager who has won it before but he didn't deliver.

Surely it's Rafa. I can't see anyone else apart from P.Gaurdiola but he won't be going there.
Mourinho will stay another year at least to try and improve on this season.
