Try being me! I want to go out after, hopefully to celebrate, but it's going to be hell.

i also hope that united don't try and do a hatchet job, taking it in turns, to leave one on messi.

if barca have a fit puyol alongside pique and abidal fit at left back - then alves, iniesta, xavi, messi, villa and pedro will just run riot

United - surely they will be starting rooney behind hernandez - and the defence picks itself, evra vidic ferdinand and rafael/fabio(i get them mixed up) - it's midfield - please start carrick and scholes -

if i was a united fan i'd reckon their best midfield would be carrick, giggs, park and nani??

either way **** them - if barcelona peform any where near to wha they are capable of it doesn't matter what united do - they'll get ****ted
Apparently Barca are working hard on Puyol and Abidal to get them fit to play, but it's far from certain they will. More likely for Puyol to start.

As for United's midfield, i'd say it'll be like this:

    Valencia ---- Carrick ---- Giggs --- Park

And yeah, Rooney just off Hernandez.

United have been working on two formations for the final. They will start 4-4-2 and go to 3-4-3 if they fall behind, with Antonio Valencia pushing up alongside Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney in attack. Nani has been playing the "Messi role" in training, while Michael Owen has been playing in the style of David Villa.
    Full story: Daily Telegraph

Fergie really has lost the plot

too right. United will target him and so they should.

Just hope it's BS from Balague, and Puyol and Abidal both play meaning no Mascherano at CB.

Yes, do turn up in a Liverpool shirt - can i suggest Wembley, for that?

It doesnt matter if they're rivals or not, people will be out all day drinking and whatever happens, there will ALWAYS be some ****s who will get wasted and start **** - and then it'd just escalate.

After all the student protest marches and suchlike, the Met will do anything to avoid hassle, especially when countless bars will be showing the game anyway

Any bar worth its salt will show it on big screens.

Depends what you're after, but the Sports Cafe on Haymarket is a place i've always enjoyed, not cheap but there'll be ****loads of screens everywhere in there and the atmosphere will be good - plus it's in the West end too and open til 3am i believe. Just make sure you get there early enough though, if you go - as is the case anywhere really

Thanks Makes sense I suppose but I doubt there would be much trouble as they aren't exactly bitter rivals ffs. Although I suppose if I went along wearing a Liverpool top it could incite violence

I'm terrified they're going to have an off game and that Ferguson, the gum-chewing alcomonkey, will somehow get his crew of hatchet-faced, classless, drug-addled grannybummers to pox, cheat, whinge and dive their way to a completely undeserved win. The thoughts of that carbuncle-faced, damp-trousered toerag getting his foul arse-smelling hands on the European Cup is a total nightmare. There's no way of looking forward to this for me.
I'm clinging to my own personal bit of hope on this one, er....i had a dream , well a day dream.

I remember the thoughts at the time of our terrible Istanbul start, and how we were going to possibly embarrass english football by getting well beaten, well, that's my dream for Saturday.

It will be utd who end up embarrassing english football, by conceding 5, yes 5 goals to Barca and losing miserably.

Then, when we stick 5 fingers up to them as we have done many times, it will from that night on contain new resonance for all concerned, our glory.....their humiliation.

Before anyone says anything negative. Yeah i know.
