    Top, top player

It's really getting on my tits now.

Whose fault is this? Harry Redknapp? Jamie? Even some of my mates have started saying it

Today alone I've seen it three times:

Michael Owen today: “At Liverpool, we were always playing catch-up to Arsenal and United. It feels more real here. It feels there’s always a big chance of winning things. I was a bit young but I know the AC Milan team of Gullit and Van Basten was a top, top team."

Pardew: "I upset Coloccini before half-time, because he wanted to go up for a set play and I asked him to stay back. I might have to upset him a bit more, because he was absolutely different class in the second half. He’s a top, top player."

Arry: "We're not looking to sell Niko. He's a great lad with a triffic attitude. He's a top, top player."

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I started saying top drawer when Gray said it over and over again, if i hit a good shot in training with the lads I'll be like "that was straight out my top drawer"

Thankfully I stick to just good player at the minute, instead of top, top player. But I can see it catching on more and more
The times they are a changin'.

The other thing that gets on my tits - although this has gone on for years - is when people pluralise footballers. The Jamie Redknapps of this world do it all the time. Like there's more than one of them.

"You look at the John Terrys of this world, the Lampards, the Rio Ferdinands..."

A waste of a whole sentance went the word "cunt" will suffice. It's bonkers.

Wheeler Dealer, Harry Redknapp is fond of saying Top Drawer as well:

He said: “I hate when people say, ‘Oh well, if they don’t make the Champions League, they’re going to sell (Gareth) Bale or they’re going to sell (Luka) Modric – that’s not the way forward.

“The way forward now is to say, ‘Okay, let’s go and find one or two top-drawer players and go and move on again and let’s get back in the Champions League’.”

                And again:

Harry Redknapp lauds ‘top-drawer’ Roman Pavlyuchenko after Tottenham striker’s brace relegated Birmingham

"You watch him in training every day, his movement, his finishing, he's top-drawer. He's a good lad, comes in and works hard and he's so laid back"

I also hate it when people apply that to going to the pub. Sometimes get texts saying "fancy going out for a couple of cheeky ones?".....****ing cheeky?

I also think he invented 'between the lines', or at least introduced it to this country. It's everywhere now.

Why is it cheeky? What is cheeky about having a drink or going out? It's just total bollocks.
