    Barca...........

After witnessing their demolition of Man Utd it has left me wondering how long their "dynasty " can continue. Sure, Messi is 23 and has years left but what about the rest of their team. When Xavi and Iniesta call it a day is that it? Or can they get players in to play the same way? Does their domination end when those players are gone or will Barca be able to replace them? It also begs the question which current players, playing elsewhere, could actually play in that team? Fabregas and Suarez spring to mind for me.
    What about you lot?
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

They've got a production line of talent, all their teams play the Barca way and i could see them winning a good few more European Cups in the next 10 years. And i doubt Fabregas would get in their team at the minute, same as he doesnt get in for Spain.

Wouldnt be surprised if we end this decade with Barcelona on about 6 or 7 European Cups.

Key for them is to keep the nucleus of the current starting 11 intact and add few pieces here and there.

If they do that, bar any serious injuries, they will be ruling CL for next little while..

It's interesting though, that they have very little squad depth.

They have the smallest squad out of all big clubs and still they are untouchable.

            Agreed.

Iniesta is also only 27. Xavi is 31 but he has a good few years left in him yet, plenty of time to find/bed in a replacement

**** me though, how much has Xavi won in the last few years? 3 leagues, 2 European cups, world cup and euro championship. Unbaleeebabbabable

Just think what Lionel Messi's footballing CV will look like by the end of his career, if he stays with Barca

Keep Messi fit & hungry and they'll continue to dominate.

Pedro, Masher, Inesta, Pique are fairly young. Xavi and Villa have a couple of years left in their prime.

Xavi will still go strong at 35 I think. His game doesn't rely on anything that age takes away. The rest of their core is still young.

The only thing that he'll surely struggle with, is the pressing side of the game - surely he wont be able to do that properly for many more years. Especially the relentless way Barca do it. Can you imagine being 35 years old and knackered, and having a coach bellowing at you "7 seconds Xavi, 7 seconds!!"

If Utd's Javier Hernadez keeps improving the way he does. Next year he will be at Barca.

I think he needs to contribute more to the whole team before he can be a Barca player.

Do you think that Liverpool would let them have that same amount of possession?
