Won 2, lost 5 of their last 10 games that season. Real Madrid also did the double over them.

Season before that they managed 76 points in the league.

His first season - 87 points
    Next season - 99 points

Rubbish. He's done incredible, it was bold as hell coming in and ditching fans favourites Deco and Ronaldinho, Alves was signed under his management, Pedro and Busquets promoted through from the b team, a Man Utd reserve signed to play at centre back who's now the best in the world etc etc. If it was all so simple as having some great players then Rijkaard would still be there winning everything.

And he's built the most insane work rate ever seen in to them.

it would appear if anyone is the special one at the moment it is him

even better that he doesnt feel the need to tell people that he is.

Cannot get over the refusal to give him the credit he deserves. So much rubbish talked about what he inherited.

specially when you think of how many good players have gone onto be **** managers.

Pepe seems a superb manager with all the right attributes on and off the pitch.

The team Pep inherited included Ronaldinho, Deco, Eto amongst others that he quickly moved on to put together this current team which he has moulded into one of the best footballing teams in history. Lets not forget he was involved with the B team and has helped produce players such as Messi, Iniesta, Pedro etc etc etc.

                Superb Manager.

Well let's just hope he doesn't end up at the scum.
Then you all will not be feeling the same way about him.

If he manages in England, it'll be at Arsenal or Chelsea.

He's quoted already as saying he wouldnt want to have to follow in ferguson's footsteps.

Aye, i wouldn't mind him at Anfield. After Rafa has spent a good few years with us.
