I've been asking Villa fans on FB for reasons why they don't want him.
Brace yourselves.
"Spent more than Ferguson, more than anyone, and never won the league."
"Last two seasons have been appalling, turned Inter from the best team in Europe to ****"
"Ferguson destroyed him psychologically"
"Wasted millions on absolute rubbish, any brain dead idiot could've bought Torres, Reina and Mascherano"
It is absolutely ****ing laughable. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'm sure they were well aware of Torres and how good he would turn out.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI've been asking Villa fans on FB for reasons why they don't want him.

And as for Mascherano languishing on West Ham's reserves.
And who had heard of Reina in England?
Oh I don't know.

For Villa fans to dismiss the idea of Rafa is ridiculous. However, he is somewhat over-rated by many Liverpool fans who just refuse to see his flaws. The fact that he was good at massaging the egos of the fans maybe has something to do with it. The owners is given as a blanket excuse for any criticism that come his way.
Whatever the context of the Inter job, he took it, his team were utter ****e by their standards and he was out after a few months. Can't blame people for giving weight to that, we would if a potential manager had just come through the same.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

How much did O'Neill spend when he was at Villa?
Also I don't see the next Villa manager have to worry about playing mind games with Ferguson

Do you think it was possible for Rafa to do much better with us under the conditions he was under though?Originally posted by Kenneth View PostFor Villa fans to dismiss the idea of Rafa is ridiculous. But if you ignore the context of what happened at Inter, your views have little relevance.
