Don't want him in the slightest but if signs he's one of our players and we support him (until he does something ****ing stupid, which will only be a matter of time!)
I thought him and Gerrard don't speak to each other?
No way, I don't care, our player or not Barton is the scum of the earth, he should **** off and join a pirate ship or something, I'm sure he would enjoy it more.
Actually, Kenny is a very clever man, if Barton thinks he has a chance of joining us he is less likely (fractionally) to break one of our players legs in our next game! That's what it's about, no chance he will sign for us.
Joey Barton is likely to remain at Newcastle, even though a new deal has not yet been agreed.
The 28-year old and his agent Willie McKay have been involved in contract negotiations with the club over the last week and yesterday, Barton was linked with a move to Liverpool.
However, sources close to the club have played down the link to the Merseyside club and expect the midfielder to sign the contract that will keep him on Tyneside.
A source told NUFCfans:
"There's no deal as of yet but Joey is expected to stay at Newcastle."
