Joey Barton has threatened to "expose" footballer-turned-pundit Gary Lineker.
Lineker was part of the Match of the Day panel which criticised Barton for his behaviour before and after getting sent off in QPR's match against title winners Manchester City yesterday (May 13).
Barton initially said on Twitter that while he would "take it" from Alan Hansen and Lineker, he refused to be criticised by "that bell" Alan Shearer.
The QPR midfielder then rebuffed Lineker's defence of Shearer and his suggestion that Barton was attempting to deflect from "obvious and deserved criticisms".
Lineker then said to Barton: "Still raging then? Still kicking out? And still, presumably, misunderstood? But only by yourself I suspect."
Barton responded: "Do u wanna go there publicly "Mr Squeaky Clean" ? Think u should have a look in that vast closet of skeltons before u respond. (sic)
"I know a lot about THAT side to u the people don't and won't bat an eye lid at exposing u.
"So mind ur manners Squeaky... now back under your stone you odious little toad..."

No you can make the comparison because they both do similar things, age means nothing in this argument its about behaviour of a person. Its a cop out to say, wait 7 years and come back to meOriginally posted by Alex View PostYou can make the comparison if he is doing it aged 29, whilst a captain of a football team. Ballotelli did most of his stupid things while he was a teenager. Hopefully he will grow out of it.

My point was about people doing stupid things when they are young. Id like to think he Ballotelli will grow out of the stupid things he does.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostNo you can make the comparison because they both do similar things, age means nothing in this argument its about behaviour of a person. Yes but my point is, age doesn't make you less of a cunt for doing those things. People who go on about how funny Balotelli is are often the same people to stick the boot in on Barton, double standards.Originally posted by Alex View PostMy point was about people doing stupid things when they are young. I agree in part with that but I also very much enjoy him putting sanctimonious, holier-than-thou hypocrites like Lineker and Shearer in their place.Originally posted by dww View Post
It's not even vaguely amusing. He's just a **** who thinks that reading philosophy excuses his being an utter **** weasel. His only defense always seems to be that other people do bad things too, which has some truth to it but he is worse than most and seems incapable of accepting any blame for his actions.
It's all panto in my eyes. Jolly good fun. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
