Thanjk you.

Outstanding performance by Aquilani today! He drifts into space so well, and is so good with his use of the ball. Simple passes when necessary, but can play that decisive killer ball when its on (not forced!).
Played well today and I think he should be kept and given a chance however he is made of glass and he wont get the time and space that he enjoyed today in the Prem.
Worth giving him the chance though,especially since nobody wants him at a good price for us it seems.

He was superb today. I really would like to see him getting a streak of games to play to see how he would fit in Kenny's move and pass system.

I defended Aquilani a lot in 2009/10, feeling he did better than given credit for. Lots of good passing + 6 assists
@paul_tomkins
I was a fan of AA in 2009/10, and think he can be a lot better still.
@paul_tomkins
I'd like to see room made for him. But hard to sort out our central midfield two or three from the cast of 1000s
@paul_tomkins
Aquilani given the 1st month off last season to fully heal & prepare, never looked back
@paul_tomkins
I'd love to see him given a chance, but not someone you can plan around.
@paul_tomkins
Not sure physical side even comes into it. He's like Modric, he just doesn't need it for what he does <-More *his* body
@paul_tomkins
Wrote a piece for Well Red mag last week. Said that I'd at least expect Kenny to want to work with AA over summer before any decision made

Aquilani has great technique and vision. Would love to see him stay. Obv. has his faults too (physical side). But can find time/space
He's got the kind of creativity and imagination that no other player at our club has. His through balls are so quick, he doesn't dwell on the ball at all. If he can stay injury free he will be a great asset this season.
We've got a ridiculous amount of midfielders now though and we'll need to offload a few. Poulsen will go, Joe Cole probably won't, Jovanovich will go and Shelvey will go out on loan. Even after all that we still have more than enough, Spearing was good last season but I don't see how he will get many games now
Agree with what most other are saying. He's obviously a very classy player. When it comes to imagination and one touch passing, he's arguably the best we have. Be great to see him and Suarez link up. Add Gerrard to that and you have enough invention to trouble any defence.
Once he got himself fit for us, I thought he looked good. The Hodge wanted shooting for letting an 18 million pound player go on loan last season. But who knows, perhaps the season with Juve was just what he needed to reinvigorate himself.
I really hope he stays. Love the way he plays the game, and I think he would flourish in Dalglish's system
I'm looking forward to seeing him in our team. He will be like a new signing. For years people have moaned about us not having a strong squad but He fits the bill for bulking up our squad. I don't think he will be leaving.
I was impressed with him. Looked a lot sharper now he's properly fit. I can certainy see Suarez profiting from from a few more higher risk through balls will his pace and trickery. It will all depend on how he gells will the likes Suarez, Downing and Gerrard, and how he handles more competitive games. Certainy not inconceivable that he would be a first team regular this season if he stays fit and has come back with a good attitude.
Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom- 2 years1year 0.5 years
Everything about Aquilani shows he is a footballer's footballer. I was happy when we bought him and I was unhappy we loaned him out. Apart from some defensive positions this is the best quality squad we've had in a very long time, 10+ years at least.
And if push really came to shove (I hope it doesn't) then I'd ship Meireles out before Aqua-Man.

I agree Mostar, his passing, movement on/off the ball was a joy to watch, go on Kenny, give him a chance till January then if he fails to live up to the standard then, get rid
