for the life of me i just dont see the point of selling aquilani at a huge loss just so that we can replace him with charlie adam.

aquilani when fit proved what a quality operator he was and he's been injury free for over a season now. hes more mobile that charlie adam, is just as good a long range passer and better short passer, and scores goals.

he gets a fair few assists too and having seen how ****ing lazy charlie adam is i prefer aquilani.

meireles is a pussy full stop and aquilani plays with more heart and intelligence.

well it seems he's going to be here for pre-season let's hope he can stay fit and just get on with proving himself he might well turn out to be a pretty handy player for us next season.

With Kenny being in charge I think the style of football we're sure to be employing should suit him and you never know if he does start the season with us he might well show us the footballer we thought he might be.

I'd like if he would come back.

Finally healthy and match fit and if we sign Adam our midfield options are pretty deep.

All the mid players will really need to impress to make it in starting 11 (our bench will look all mighty for a change too) and that can only be a good thing.

it will be interesting to see (if we dont sell or loan him) if he can be injury free in the more physical EPL

Italy midfielder Alberto Aquilani insists he is looking forward to returning to Liverpool following his season-long loan at Juventus.

Aquilani was not offered a permanent deal by the Turin giants despite making 33 league appearances for the Bianconeri last term.

The 26-year-old was a reported target of Napoli and AC Milan, but has confirmed he will move back to Anfield this summer.

"I return to Liverpool with great enthusiasm," Aquilani told Sky Italia."This is not a problem.

"It's not true that I didn't want to return to England."

Liverpool signed Aquilani for a reported fee of £20million from Roma in 2009 and he is under contract with the Reds until June 2014.

Juve missed out on European football after a disappointing seventh-place finish in Serie A.

He's soon changed his tune hasn't he. I still want him back though, could be an excellent player coming from the bench and no doubt he will start some games too.
