      That is just your onion.

      Also, just saw this!

Liverpool sign Maxi Rodriguez on free transfer from Atletico Madrid

The 29-year-old winger has penned a three-and-a-half-year deal with Rafael Benitez's side after spending four years in the Spanish capital.

After passing a medical and agreeing terms Rodriguez put pen to paper on the deal, which is subject to international clearance.

Benitez said: "We were looking for players with character and a good mentality.

"He has played for Argentina and Atletico Madrid and is a player with personality.

"He can play in three positions - on the right, left or as a second striker - and is someone with a very positive mentality, which is what we are looking for.

I have to say I glad to have him back and think he could be a major player for us if he stays.

if this lad can keep fit and get a full pre-season behind him the way we'll likely be looking to play should suit him down to the ground.

Eye would rather keep Aquilani than use him as bait for Lennon.

How do you think Aquilani feels? He regularly pulls of that 'Ronaldinho trick' without even trying.

At 29 if we can cash in on him, even for a younger Lennon, then its just about worth it. Though I'd love to see what he could offer us next season. Its a tough one.

Think Aqua 27 in 3 days.

Personally i hope we can offload him elsewhere, i'm not a fan of Lennon he is very raw, scatty and a bit of a bird brain. Similar to Theo Walcott IMO, fits and starts.

My bad, my eyes playing tricks. Was reading about him and read Maxi's age above. In that case would like to see him play for us next season, no brainer. Lennon can get stuffed.

Agreed on Lennon. Great pace but delivery is very irratic and I don't see him providing the service Carroll needs.

I think I would prefer to keep Aquilani than swap him for Lennon, I've never been convinced by Lennon.
