Its our own fault, the deal was dumb. Do we not learn?

A player of his ability, not saying hes fantastic but he'd be around the first team. Should either be sold or stay, not other option.

Hahahaha- LFC only have themselves to blame. Fans predicted exactly this is what would happen.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

to be fair to them, it was our ludicrous means of counting too if it's in the contract.

They've got use of the player for 20 odd games for **** all money. They have more commercial acumin than we do. Sack Parry.

Would have thought he'd have got the total easily given how brilliant he's apparently meant to be. AC could have got themselves a bargain.

Oh aye yeah, we were mugs for agreeing to it.

We should have charged them a fee for the loan and if they take up the option to sign him knock the loan fee off the transfer fee, if not we've at least had the loan fee. I thought this was the standard practice.

My take on it is that they simply don't thinnk he is worth the money and that they don't rate him enough. If they really wanted him, they would have got him.
                    Oh I don't know.

Aren't they signing someone else on a free?

                        Only ourselves to blame here.

Why would any club commit to buying him when they know they can get him on loan every season and only pay a percentage of his wage?

I think they have agreed deals for two midfielders Montolivo on a free and someone else from France. So there is no chance they want to keep Aquilani in my opinion.

Yep, if they thought he was good enough he'd have been in the team during the run in for the title. Looks like another summer saga, might aswell try and get some use out of him as it looks pretty clear he's unwanted by the big boys in Italy.

Actually, the pound is strengthening against the Euro.

If it collapses, we may just find ourselves in good position financially regarding transfers from Europe (temporarily, at least)...
