Pretty much my feeling about it. No sense in crying over spilt milk. Hopefully getting the deal done allows us to bring in someone who can contribute to the team.

      Don't see why he's been a complete ****?

He's been told he's not in successive managers' plans, doesnt fancy staying and fighting to prove them wrong so goes on loan. Is it his fault that the loan deals allowed us to get into this position?

He's just looked after his own interests. we can't say he needs to be hung out to dry because he doesn't forego his own interests in order to help out a club that doesnt want him. bit unrealistic that is it not?

terrible purchase, its over now so lets just forget about it. For me LFC are as guilty as he is if not more so.

You can believe Aquilani if you like thats your decision

I choose to believe the homesick story and that hes pressurised the club to get him back to Italy

2 years on the trot we've helped him and now for a third year we are trying to help the poor homesick lamb and how does he repay us he tries and ****s us over regarding a pay off.

The clubs only failing in this has been naivety

**** him and **** his mercenary agent

That is why I am happy to see us paying him off and getting him out the door, all this PR ****e and nonsense from him and his agent is doing my nut in

Good luck to him. Just because we can't manage our affairs properly - if that's even the case - there's no reason that Acquilani shouldn't look out for himself.

World is full of wonderful people with different views to mine, which are obviously correct. Good Luck to him, lets hope we start running our affairs properly. Business is business, and this football thing, is a business.

ok but if this is what has happened, even the most retarded of negotiators will have spotted the 'yes I'll help you if you take a pay cut' angle.

if we couldnt seal that deal then its our own fault frankly.

Reckon we'll get a 'letter to the fans' from him?

                      Well done Ayre.
The blame lies firmly with Rafa for this **** up. Anything we do now is damage limitation.

Maybe he can then blame our next manager for not giving him a chance

I wouldnt expect to receive too much, if anything based on that, and £7 milliom sounds fantasyland
But both teams got an option to get someone for free (Pirlo and Montolivo). Not sure why you like to ignore that.
