Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
Well, it'll be hard to buy ones as bad as we bought last year. All of whom are far worse than Aquilani.
Henderson will come good in time I reckon, I'm confident of that.
Downing - he's a sack of **** and needs to go.
Aquilani may have had some talent but he proper shafted us Matt, glad we've got rid now.
I'm hoping that Rodgers can bring in some much needed talent before now and the start of the new season.

TBF it was Rafa who decided he was worth paying that amount for, in fact if he was fit, we'd have probably have paid even more..
Juve, Milan, Roma and LFC.. Hardly **** clubs.. The lad has talent but injuries have been an issue..
If the truth be known, his style and game just wasn't suited to the Prem..
I wouldn't say that was his fault..
No he can't be blamed for not being suited to the prem. but I would have thought that he should have known that if he'd have done his homework & him knowing that he's a bit of a pussy himself. But if someone dangles a big carrot like we did to him, what the hell give it a go. If it fails, He's still getting paid right.
Rodgers looks to recycle Aquilani funds

Alberto Aquilani has ended his time at Liverpool after the Reds agreed a permanent transfer with Fiorentina.
Earlier this week the player's agent distanced his client from speculation with a move to the Viola; stating that the finances were not in place. But on Friday morning*the Serie A club's*honorary president, Andrea Della Vale, appeared to signal that a transfer could be imminent.**
"He [Aquilani]*is the big name signing that we were waiting for,"*Della Vale*said.
Precise details of the fee and structure of the deal have not been disclosed, though it is understood that Liverpool have opted to pay a portion of the Italian international's salary in order to smooth some problems.
However, this does represent a discount on the*£80,000 weekly wage*which would otherwise have been*met by the Reds.
Aquilani has been hampered by injury since making a high profile switch from Roma in 2009. He has spent the last two campaign's on loan with Juventus and then AC Milan.
It seems that*Brendan Rodgers will move quickly to reinvest*the additional funds*at his disposal.
Moves to sign Joe Allen will step up when Team GB's Olympic bid is over.
Rodgers has also suggested that loans may become a feature of his trading strategy this month.
"Hopefully things will progress over the next couple of days," he said.
"It may take one or two moves to spark everything off. I want players in sooner rather than later. It is important to get the group together quickly.
"I have also looked at one or two loan deals from abroad. The make-up of the group will change before the season starts, and that will change the dynamic of the team."
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Aquilani’s time at Liverpool Football Club is finally over after the club confirmed the midfielder has completed a permanent move to Fiorentina for a reported £4 million deal.

A statement on club website read: “Liverpool Football Club can today confirm that Alberto Aquilani has completed a permanent transfer to Serie A side Fiorentina.
“The Italian midfielder joined Liverpool in 2009 but made just 28 first-team appearances having spent the last two seasons on loan in his homeland.
“Everyone at the club would like to wish Alberto all the best for the future.
