I don't think you can put Riera and N'Gog in the best signings list alongside Mascher, Xabi, Torres, Agger, Yossi etc. May be a step below them but not bad signings in any way.

Ngog for £1.5m was quite a decent signing and Riera is the best left midfielder we've had in years. Only £6m (?) too.

£7.5m in total for those two. They weren't world beaters but it shows that Rafa can spot a good deal.
