i loved last nights game!! it was a classic. Best two teams around, best two players around - and to top it off they all ****ing hate each other

For Barca - i thought Danny Alves had a great game against ronaldo, who just couldn't get away from him - Mascherano too played very well at centre half...

Real Madrid - had some spells, they tried to press higher up the pitch, they gave away a lot of fouls and ruffled barca - hate the way they disagree with every foul though

But......i've left two people to mention to the end..


Lionel Messi and Andreas Iniesta....My god - they play a different game to anyone else on the planet. Iniesta was pretty much raping alonso and the rest of the madrid midfield at will - and lionel messi...i could watch him all day long. What a ****ing player.

It was magic. Iniesta....wow, he leaves me speechless time and time again. From the very first time I saw him, years ago now, I was really taken by him and in most other eras he'd be regarded as the best footballer on the planet.

Iniesta - possibly about 60th minute ish - was going one way, just holding the ball up, moving away from goal - getting hassled by alonso and at least one other maybe two, and he literally whislt moving the opposite way....kinda stopped and did a 180 degree turn in one swift movement and all of a sudden.....the three real madrid players were like 4 yards past him going the wrong way and iniesta is now facing goal
