It's hard to imagine he did that considering he's the top scorer in the league (ignoring Falcao's hatrick) thus far scoring in all of the other games. But then he misses that, nowhere even near getting it in. And if he'd have left it, Pablo Hernandez was ghosting in the far post and would've had a tap in.

Valencia v Barca finished Bishop Desmond.

      Real also drew tonight.
That rug really tied the room together.

Real were apparently absolutely dismal and barely mustered a chance. 0 goals against relegation fodder in 2 games, Mourinho is finally getting his team boring everyone to death.

It's gonna be great to see the fans turn on Mourinho.

Yeh and I hope they do! dont like the way he goes about his job! Barcelona v valencia game was great last night! valencia were quality! interesting to here what the spainish pundits were saying about fabregas and how poorly he was playing... guimme balague was saying he wasn't picking up positions that he should have been doing and didn't play the way barce usually do which stopped them from playing the good football! he still popped up with the goal though but apparently theres still alot of work to be done with him! valencia were brilliant though, benaga was my man of the match!!

Yeah, caught the second half, was good to see a team give Barca a game instead of concedind 98% possession.

Apparently Affelay has done his cruciate in training, could be a six month job. I know he hardly plays but it's still a blow for them having lost Sanchez for months. Attacking back up thin on the ground.

If Messi picked up a medium to long term injury, they would be up **** creek.....

Assassin, are you hinting you've been given a contract?
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

This would be one contract I would turn down. However, if someone was offering as good price on the plastic Ronaldo his compromise would not be a problem

                        What's wrong with Sanchez?

Can't remember the injury - torn hammy possibly. Out for 2-3 months I think.

very unlucky that lad. but he will probably end up at Hereeneveen in Dutch league, or i can see some Blackburn or Fulham.

Nah, if Affelay gets his act together & leaves soon after getting fit, there'd be shortage of takers. I'd be disappointed if we weren't interested tbh.
