Great point for Barca, as long as they are only 3 or less behind Real with them still to play they'll win it.

Barca would have thought a banker 3 points, so it's a bad result for them, but considering the last minute rescue, not a bad point.

Top game, one of the best if not the best of the season thus far. The pitch was too wet for it to be conducive of football all of the time, but the effort was highly commendable.

Athletic were excellent but the pitch ruined the game I thought.

The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

But all that aside he is an incredible footballer.
I honestly feel like he has improved in those areas as well since he's signed for Real Madrid. Maybe it's because he left that club full of horrible cunts (although he's now under Mourinho, so that doesn't make much sense), but I don't really remember him diving recently, or moaning to the ref, or trying to get someone booked, which he used to do on a regular basis. He's still vain and arrogant, but I don't see that as a symbol of everything wrong with footballers, although it is annoying. And this is all coming from a person who has always genuinely hated him. I must admit though, every match of Real Madrid I watch seems to end with some silly 18:0 result, so maybe his sportsmanship is only better in those matches.

I think Ronaldo dived far less towards the end of his time at Manchester United. Furthermore I'd suggest it was coached out of him.

Real have a better squad the Barca. No way Real will not win this years La Liga. Fatigue towards end of the season and lack of squad will put paid to Barca winning La Liga. They seriously lack defenders.

I know, I just wanted to include the obligatory "United = cunts" statement in my post.

Barca look a bit worn out. It's very tough to keep that state of mind, that hunger, after three years of being completely unstoppable and winning everything.

Maybe chasing Real will do them some good.

I'd agree they seriously lack traditional defenders but it seems like they're trying to redefine both defending and the type of player you need to do it.

The first goal they conceded tonight was down to a mistake entirely caused by the state of the pitch and the second was a very unfortunate game of pinball, again, I think, caused by the ridiculous weather conditions.

Whether playing a small converted DM at centre back will work against the best teams in Europe remains to be seen but I still think they're favourites for La Liga.
