You must have been very close to me then.Originally posted by dom9 View PostYup. Right in the corner by the Centenary.
Could your hear some auld boy shouting at every piece of action as if his life depended on it, then coughing and spluttering afterwards as if his life did actually depend on it? Similarly, he sang non stop at the top of his voice, then proceeded again to cough and splutter everywhere afterwards? If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Why I asked was because when we got to our seats there was an overpowering smell of faeces. It was unbearable. A few of us had to sit with our noses covered by scarves, however when the man beside me cheered, even the scarves didn't protect us. Still don't know what it was, Claire said it was an infection smell, but it smelt like diarrhoea to me.
Anyway, my point is that as I sat there dreading every song due to the overwhelming stench that accompanied it, it seemed we sang the Sterling or Manchester is **** (didn't help
) song every 2 minutes. This fella beside me actually sang every song in our library, but the only ones (bar Kolo) I noticed others joining in were the 2 mentioned above.
That's why I complained about the singing in AR end.Last edited by RedReet; 05-03-16, 03:06 PM.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Was very unpleasant and ruined an excellent performance from us, but equally, have sympathy for the man who was only there supporting his team. He clearly wasn't well.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostThat sounds absolutely horrific

Did you hear those two kids in the corner of the Centenary who were trying to start chants all game? They got loads going. They must have been about 5 and 7 respectively. They were great.Oh I don't know.

We were a bit closer to the goal, so any singing from the Centenary would have been drowned out by the coughing.Originally posted by dom9 View PostHaha. It did stink a bit didn't it.

The reaction from commentators on the night was ridiculous too. With the money City have spent over the years, their academy team should be capable of going to Kiev and winning 3-1 or more.Originally posted by Rich View PostCity have big billboard posts up about their game against Kiev, billing the game as "Breakthrough Night"
