How much do you think he would have cost??Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI reckon we’ve missed a trick not going straight in for him with our Phil cash.
I’d imagine it will be tricky to get Leicester to part with him 24 hours before he end of the window.
I reckon the Coutinho deal has set a floor to the pricing and selling clubs will bump their ideas upwards
They want £100m if you believe the reports. Knocking back £60m (€68m) definitely shows they are looking for something more. Personally I reckon they will have to get near to €100m (£90m) to get them to blinkBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. Might take more than that nowOriginally posted by Buzzo View Post£75m +
He’s one of the few attacking players with PL experience that would be potentially available.
In this market... I reckon he is worth it.
I like him thoughBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Feel a bit sorry for Mahrez. Won the league for Leicester, should have had his big move ages ago but keeps falling through. A few weeks ago, Leicester would have snapped someones hands off for £50m, but because Mahrez is playing so well for them, he's now being priced out of a move away.
He should threaten to strike and invite a £40m bid from us.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He is a very talented player that needs a big move to progress. The money City offered is crazy but fair play to Leicester not letting their star player go mid season as they would have never got a replacement as good in this window. I'm sure they will get rid in the summer for just as hefty fee.
